Ask any Miami local about Lincoln Road, and you’ll likely get an eye roll. “Too touristy,” they’ll scoff, citing overpriced mojitos and pushy hostesses with their giant illustrated menus. But here’s a secret: Lincoln Road can be a great place to eat—if you know where to go.
Beyond the crowds and chain restaurants, there’s a mix of hidden gems, rooftop hotspots and long-standing favorites that deliver a genuinely good meal. Follow our dining guide to navigate the pedestrian mall like a local and eat well, whether it’s date night, a post-beach bite or just a casual stroll with good food along the way.
1. MILA
A swanky 13,000-square-foot rooftop serving a Mediterranean-meets-Asian menu. Dine indoors or outdoors and feast on dishes like shawarma-spiced wagyu dumplings, Alaskan king crab tempura and salmon crudo with passion fruit dressing.
2. Harry’s Pizzeria
James Beard Award-winning chef Michael Schwartz slings thin-crust pizzas from a wood-burning oven using fresh dough and wheat flour (though a gluten-free option is also available). Go to town on the rock shrimp pizza with grilled lemon, buttery Manchego, scallions and ribbons of cilantro or a totally unique creation of roasted eggplant and harissa with a ribbon of sesame seeds along the crust.
3. Andrés Carne de Res
You’ll never meet a more boisterous restaurant than this 400-seat, two-story export from Bogotá. Elevated versions of Colombian classics are served in a restaurant where every inch has been decorated like the cabaret show of your wildest dreams. It might all seem overwhelming and tourist-trap-like, but the food at Andrés Carne de Res has made it a Bogota staple since 1982.
4. Mister-01
Located just behind the Apple Store, Mister O1 is a Neopolitan pizza spot hidden in an office building. The space is tiny, so there’s a large chance you’ll have to wait, but the star-shaped pizzas are worth it.
5. Issabella’s Miami
Isabella’s serves modern takes on Mediterranean dishes from a chic dining room. Think spicy rigatoni with Calabrian chili and a crab linguine with garlic breadcrumbs.
6. Oro
This new 15,000-square-foot rooftop restaurant is coming soon from chef Victor Muñoz. From a golden-hued dining, order dishes that span the globe, with tom kha crudo, dry-aged Rohan duck and caviar served with fermented banana peel on a plantain waffle.
7. The Lincoln Eatery
A cozy little food hall featuring nearly a dozen different vendors and a rooftop bar, Sky Yard, sits just off Lincoln Road. With something for everyone—from arepas, sushi rolls and katsu sandos.
8. Havana 1957
This local chain aims to channel a bit of tourist-friendly old Cuba. Croquetas, a media noche, ropa vieja—all the Cuban staples you’ve been told to try are on the menu. And they’re not half-bad either.
9. Cortadito Coffee House
Cortadito’s location on a side street of Lincoln Road exists as a modern, fancied-up version of the Cuban ventanitas you’ll find around the city. There are bowls and Cuban sandwiches, but the best things here are the pastelitos and Cuban coffee—even with the modern look, this place does them very right.
10. Spris
Though you’ll find sandwiches and salad on the menu, Spris is all about pizza. In addition to your usual suspects, Spris also tackles some tasty white pizzas with no tomato sauce.
11. Shake Shack
The best fast food burger in the country resides here. Yeah, we said it. The shakes aren’t too shabby either. Don’t be afraid to stray from the classic ShackBurger into meatless territory.
12. Rosinella
With some much happening on Lincoln Road, it’s easy to miss the green awning that houses Rosinella, a family-owned Italian restaurant that’s been here since 1997. Serving up unpretentious comfort classics, you’ll find pizzas and fresh-made pastas.
13. Segafredo L’Originale
Great people-watching and tasty colorful drinks happen here. Segafredo is one of the more popular spots on Lincoln thanks to its quality and personality. Segafredo is also known for its lovely aperitivo.
