Lincoln Road Continues to Enhance Experience on Iconic Miami Beach Promenade
– Block by Block Ambassadors Provide Defensive Cleaning & Hospitality Services –
Miami Beach, FLA., May 17, 2017 – The Lincoln Road Business Improvement District has hired urban hospitality firm Block by Block to provide concierge services to Miami Beach’s iconic promenade in a continued effort to enhance the overall experience on Lincoln Road. On Friday, April 14, 2017, friendly uniformed ambassadors took to the streets to serve as information resources for businesses, residents and visitors to the area.
“Our mission is to continually elevate the Lincoln Road experience for everyone,” shares Ivannia Van Arman, executive director of the Lincoln Road Business Improvement District. “The BID’s Block by Block beautification initiative will supplement the city’s efforts and provide proactive services that will create an experience worth sharing.”
Block by Block delivers customized, first-class hospitality, cleaning, safety and outreach to downtown improvement districts all over the country. Based in Louisville, Ky., it provides similar services to districts in Houston, San Francisco, Detroit and about 85 other cities.
Lincoln Road’s ambassadors are primarily charged with interacting with visitors, providing easy-to-follow directions, parking suggestions and restaurant recommendations. They will also create a great first impression for visitors by taking care of cosmetic issues like litter, graffiti, weeds and trash-communicating volumes about the district’s pride.
Visitors to Lincoln Road can identify Block by Block ambassadors by looking for their black and white uniforms displaying the Lincoln Road logo and classic Blue Notes white Panama hats from Goorin Bros. Ambassador hours are 7 a.m. – 11 p.m. daily, with staffing adjusted by day of week and visitor traffic. For example, there will be more ambassadors on duty Wed. through Sun. due to the typically higher volume of visitors on those days.
