– Miami Beach joins the worldwide celebration of music on June 21-
Miami Beach, FLA., June 14, 2017 – For the first time, Lincoln Road invites locals and visitors in Miami Beach to celebrate Make Music Day on Wednesday, June 21 with live performances by various musicians as part of the #onLincoln series.
Make Music Day invites artists of all ages, skill levels and musical persuasions to come together and share their passion and talents with the world. Launched in 1982 in France as the Fête de la Musique, it is now held on the same day in more than 750 cities in 120 countries.
“Lincoln Road is committed to supporting the local arts community in order to bring people together and enliven the promenade,” shares Ivannia Van Arman, executive director of the Lincoln Road Business Improvement District. “It will make an evening on Lincoln Road all the more enjoyable with the addition of live music from local artists.”
In addition to busker musicians performing throughout the iconic promenade, live music stages will be set up at Euclid Oval and the 1100 block, featuring rotating 25 to 30-minute sets throughout the evening.
