Miami Beach Brings Back $1 Hourly Parking Rates

— Visitors are invited to enjoy discounted parking from Aug. 1 through Oct. 31 —

Miami Beach, FL – The City of Miami Beach is once again offering a $1-per-hour parking rate starting August 1 through October 31 at municipal parking lots, garages and on-street parking throughout the city.

“Reducing parking to just $1 an hour from August through October helps us welcome more visitors while supporting the small businesses that anchor our community,” said Miami Beach Commissioner Alex Fernandez. “We’re bringing back this promotion by popular demand to encourage people to come earlier, stay longer, support local businesses and enjoy everything Miami Beach has to offer as we gear up for peak season.”

The parking discount is available exclusively through the ParkMobile app. Users will receive up to three discounted hours per parking session and up to 45 discounted hours in total throughout the three-month promotional period.

“We invite our neighbors throughout Miami-Dade County and beyond to experience everything that Miami Beach has to offer with our lowest parking rates of the year,” shared Miami Beach Commissioner Monica Matteo-Salinas, who co-prime sponsored the extension of the parking promotion that had been sponsored by Fernandez last summer.

To take advantage of the discounted rate, motorists must open the ParkMobile app and enter the zone number. A promo code unique to that parking zone will appear in a pop-up banner within the app. Users will only need to enter the code one time if they plan to keep their vehicle within any zone that shares the same hourly rate.

“Miami Beach has some of the best restaurants, spa services and shopping in the country, along with our beautiful beaches and other outstanding amenities,” added Miami Beach Mayor Steven Meiner. “Come experience everything that makes Miami Beach one of the world’s premier destinations.”
