The Lincoln Road Business Improvement District (LRBID) invites professional artists and artist teams to submit proposals for temporary public art installations as part of Art on Lincoln, a curated public art program presented along Miami Beach’s iconic pedestrian promenade.
Lincoln Road invites artists to submit proposals for its rotating public art program, reflecting the district’s commitment to bringing culture, creativity, and meaningful artistic experiences to the community and its visitors. As the City of Miami Beach’s only pedestrian commercial corridor and one of its most iconic public spaces, Lincoln Road serves as an open-air platform for temporary public art that engages diverse audiences and enriches the public realm. The program supports artistic expression, accessibility, and cultural exchange, creating opportunities for art to be experienced as part of everyday life. Artists working across a range of media are encouraged to apply.
Artists are invited to design, deliver, and install a custom art piece or pieces for exhibition on Lincoln Road. Proposals should include all applicable design details, hardware, and installation plans. Artists will be required to provide any necessary shop drawings and submit them for approval to the appropriate permitting authorities.
Selected proposals must also include a maintenance plan outlining the care and upkeep of the artwork during the exhibition period.
