POSTPONED DUE TO RISE CANINE RESPIRATORY INFECTION

MIAMI BEACH, FL. — In an abundance of caution, the Lincoln Road Business Improvement District is postponing Unleash Your Love #onLincoln, due to the rise in Canine Infectious Respiratory Disease Complex (CIRDC). This highly contagious virus can pose serious health risks to our canine companions.  The disease can spread rapidly among dogs that are housed together or those in close proximity to each other such as in kennels, dog parks or grooming facilities.
•    CIRDC is spread by direct contact with an infected dog and by contact with people who have been exposed to the virus. The virus can be carried on people’s clothing, hands, and on items such as food/water bowls, collars/leashes, toys, bedding, etc. 
•    Coughing dogs produce virus-containing mists that can travel 20 feet or more.
•    Symptoms include coughing, sneezing, and discharge from the nose and/or eyes.

Calling all animal lovers! The Unleash Your Love Doggy Fest will be making its way to Lincoln Road offering a fun-filled day for pooches and dog lovers alike.

Families and their canine companions are invited to attend Unleash Your Love where there will be a lineup of doggy fashion and talent shows, live music and entertainment, pet adoptions, contests, Doggie Fun Zone – obstacle courses, vendor booths, doggy treats and much more.
