Will today be a beach day or will red flags and rough surf force you to abandon the sand for a day of sale shopping on Lincoln Road?
To help make your decision easier, Miami Beach Ocean Rescue has launched a telephone hotline that provides information on tide conditions (rip currents), water temperature, and high/low air temperature. Details of the colored flag warnings system and what the flag colors mean is also provided.
The recorded message will be updated daily at 8 a.m and is available by calling 305-673-7714.
If Mother Nature doesn’t cooperate and dampens your beach plans, you still have Lincoln Road.
